This page highlights the Erasmus+ KA1 mobility activities carried out during the 2025–2026 academic year. Through international learning experiences, our staff acquired new skills, shared best practices, and reinforced our school's European dimension.
Critical Thinking Course – Prague, Czech Republic
As part of our Erasmus+ accreditation, two of our teachers participated in a specialised Critical Thinking course in Prague. The training focused on innovative methodologies to develop students' analytical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and decision-making skills. Throughout the course, the participants explored practical classroom strategies, collaborative learning techniques, and inquiry-based approaches designed to foster active participation and independent thinking. The knowledge gained has enriched our educational practice and supports our commitment to preparing students for the challenges of the 21st century.
Student Mobility – Rome, Italy
As part of our Erasmus+ accreditation, a group of Year 5 students participated in an educational mobility to a partner school in Rome. During their stay, they took part in collaborative learning activities alongside Italian students, experienced a different educational environment, and strengthened their Italian language skills through authentic communication. The mobility also promoted intercultural awareness, teamwork, independence, and European citizenship, providing students with an unforgettable international learning experience.
Italian Language Course – Naples, Italy
As part of our Erasmus+ accreditation, two of our Italian language teachers participated in a specialised Italian language course in Naples. The training enabled them to strengthen their linguistic competence, refine their communication skills, and explore innovative approaches to teaching Italian as a foreign language. By experiencing the language in its cultural context and exchanging ideas with educators from across Europe, they gained valuable knowledge and practical resources that continue to enrich Italian lessons and enhance students' language learning experience at our school.
Play to Learn: Early Childhood Approaches – Budapest, Hungary
As part of our Erasmus+ accreditation, one of our Early Childhood Education teachers participated in the Play to Learn: Early Childhood Approaches course in Budapest. The training focused on play-based learning methodologies that foster children's curiosity, creativity, communication, and overall development during the early years. Through practical workshops and the exchange of good practices with educators from across Europe, the teacher gained innovative strategies to create engaging, child-centred learning environments that support meaningful, active, and inclusive learning experiences.
Gamification for Language Teachers – Split, Croatia
As part of our Erasmus+ accreditation, one of our teachers participated in the Gamification for Language Teacherscourse in Split, Croatia. The training explored innovative strategies for integrating gamification into language learning to increase students' motivation, engagement, and participation. Through practical workshops and collaboration with educators from across Europe, the teacher discovered a wide range of digital tools, game-based methodologies, and creative classroom activities designed to make language learning more meaningful, interactive, and enjoyable. The experience has inspired new approaches that continue to enrich language teaching at our school.
The Child First: Montessori, Reggio Emilia System and Contemporary Approaches to Pre-School Education – Florence, Italy
As part of our Erasmus+ accreditation, one of our Early Childhood Education teachers participated in the The Child First: Montessori, Reggio Emilia System and Contemporary Approaches to Pre-School Education course in Florence. The training explored innovative, child-centred educational approaches inspired by the Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies, placing children's curiosity, autonomy, and creativity at the heart of the learning process. Through practical workshops, school visits, and collaboration with educators from across Europe, the teacher gained valuable strategies to create inspiring, inclusive, and stimulating learning environments that foster meaningful experiences during the early years of education.
