E-WALK

E-Walk encourages children to be more active by turning walking into a fun, educational, and inclusive experience. Through a mobile app with six virtual routes, participants learn about health, ecology, and culture while developing healthy lifestyle habits.

PROJECT INFORMATION

Project Summary

E-Walk addresses the alarming lack of physical activity among children aged 9–15, a problem intensified by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The project motivates young people to adopt healthier, more active lifestyles through a mobile app that combines physical activity, education, and inclusion.
Participants join teams to complete six virtual routes around the world, learning about ecology, history, culture, and healthy living while tracking their steps in real time.

  • Foster inclusion by encouraging mixed teams (different abilities, genders, backgrounds).
