ETWINING PROJECTS
eTwinning is a key part of our school's internationalisation strategy and an essential complement to our Erasmus+ activities. Through these collaborative online projects, our students and teachers work together with partner schools across Europe, sharing ideas, cultures, and educational experiences in a safe and innovative digital environment.
Each project promotes international cooperation while developing foreign language skills, digital competence, creativity, teamwork, and intercultural understanding. By working on real challenges with European partners, our students become active participants in a wider learning community and strengthen their sense of European citizenship.

Therapy With Books
Therapy with Books was an eTwinning project developed as part of the Erasmus+ project I Exist with Art, bringing together schools from Türkiye, Romania, Estonia, and Spain. Designed for children aged 3 to 6, the project combined literature, art, drama, and digital tools to support children's emotional wellbeing and language development.
The main objective was to help children recognise, understand, and express their emotions through carefully selected picture books. By exploring stories with the support of creative activities, drama techniques, and artistic expression, pupils learned strategies to manage emotions such as anger, anxiety, fear, and insecurity while developing self-confidence, empathy, and emotional resilience.
At the same time, the project promoted a love of reading by introducing children to high-quality picture books from different European countries. Through storytelling, visual reading, listening activities, and collaborative tasks, students expanded their vocabulary, strengthened their communication skills, and developed their creativity and critical thinking.
Families and educational experts also played an active role in the project, supporting children's emotional growth and reinforcing the connection between school and home. Throughout the project, teachers collaborated closely using a wide range of Web 2.0 tools, creating shared digital resources and interactive activities that enriched the learning experience.
Therapy with Books demonstrated how literature can become a powerful educational tool, helping young children grow emotionally, socially, and linguistically while fostering collaboration between European schools.
Think ECO, Act GREEN!
Think ECO, Act GREEN! was an international eTwinning project that brought together 32 schools from 10 European countries with the shared goal of promoting environmental awareness through creativity, collaboration, and digital learning. The project encouraged students aged 6 to 11 to discover the importance of recycling by transforming everyday waste materials into toys, decorations, educational games, and artistic creations.
Throughout the project, pupils worked collaboratively with their European peers, taking part in online meetings, creative challenges, surveys, virtual exhibitions, and joint activities. Using a wide variety of Web 2.0 tools, students developed their digital competence while strengthening communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
The project followed a hands-on, student-centred approach, combining sustainability with art, technology, and active learning. By creating recycled products and sharing their work with partner schools, students gained a deeper understanding of environmental responsibility while experiencing the value of international cooperation and cultural exchange.
One of the greatest achievements of Think ECO, Act GREEN! was the strong collaboration established between all participating schools. The project received both National and European Quality Labels, recognising its educational quality, innovation, and international impact. It also laid the foundations for future Erasmus+ partnerships, demonstrating how eTwinning can inspire meaningful collaboration across Europe while preparing students to become responsible and environmentally conscious citizens.
EUROCIRILIC
EUROCIRILIC was an eTwinning project developed in collaboration between schools in Bulgaria and Spain, with the aim of promoting inclusion, intercultural dialogue, and European values through education. The project focused on supporting immigrant students by strengthening their sense of belonging, improving their emotional wellbeing, and encouraging positive coexistence within the school community.
Inspired by the shared cultural heritage of the Cyrillic alphabet and the Pedagogy of the Sun—a Bulgarian educational approach—the project introduced innovative strategies to create more inclusive and diverse learning environments. Through collaborative activities, cultural exchanges, and digital resources, students discovered the richness of different languages and traditions while developing respect, empathy, and mutual understanding.
Teachers from both countries worked together to exchange educational practices, explore new methodologies, and integrate digital technologies into classroom learning. The project also promoted the responsible use of ICT, international collaboration, and foreign language learning, providing valuable opportunities for both teachers and students to connect across borders.
By celebrating cultural diversity and encouraging cooperation between schools, EUROCIRILIC helped strengthen European identity while fostering inclusion, equality, and respect for every learner within an increasingly multicultural educational community.
